Elaine R. Kutter, 92, passed into a new life at 2:25 a.m. April 11, 2013, in Mendota Lutheran Home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. April 20 in St. John's Lutheran "Church on the Hill," Hollowayville. The Rev. Kim Lee-Brown will officiate. Burial at Peru City Cemetery will follow a luncheon in the church.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. April 20 in the church. Hurst Funeral Home, Ladd is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kutter was born Aug. 30, 1920, in Peru to Ralph and Rose (Pinter) Peters.
She married Harold Kutter Sept. 10, 1941 in St. John's Lutheran "Church on the Hill."
She enjoyed sewing, spending time with family and friends, playing cards and the special joy of spending time in her flower garden. Mrs. Kutter was a homemaker and worked later at Home and Garden Shop, Princeton.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories of her devoted husband of 71 years, Harold of Mendota Lutheran Home; two daughters, Judy (Lloyed) Marlar of Bolingbrook and Lynn (Robert) Kinney of Rockford; one sister, Arlet Lunn of Stroudsburg, Pa.; one brother, Dale Peters of Mendota; one nephew, Barry (Madelyn) Lunn of Saylorsburg, Pa.; three great-nephews; one step granddaughter; and three step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Mildred Kutter; and one brother-in-law, Robert Lunn.
In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial to St. John's Lutheran or Mendota Lutheran Home.
