    Lydia Pudwill-Munn 98, was the daughter of Friedrich "Gottfred" Pudwill 1858–1907 and Katharina Schoell-Pudwill 1862–1941 who were born in Russia.
    Lydia Pudwill was born July 30 1890 in Herreid, Campbell, South Dakota and died March 18, 1989 in Lynnwood, Snohomish, Washington.
    Lydia married John Malcom Munn 1889–1972 in Linton, South Dakota on Nov 18, 1912. John died in Pasco, Washington on December 13, 1972.
    Lydia Munn-formerly of Herreid
    EDMONDS, Washington -- The funeral for Lydia Munn 98, of Edmonds and formerly of Herreid will be at 10am today at Pollock Memorial Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Floyd Baan will officiate.
    Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at Herreid under the direction of Larson's Funeral Home of Mobridge.
    Visitation will be today prior to the service at the church.
    She died Saturday, March 18, 1989 at Lynnwood, Washington.
    Lydia Pudwill was born July 30, 1890, in a sod house near Herreid to Fred and Katharina Schoell-Pudwill. She grew up on the farm and at age 17, following her father's death, took over the farming operation. In 1920 she moved to Linton, North Dakota.
    She married John M Munn on November 18, 1922. He was a Temvik, North Dakota homesteader. They lived in the Tenvik area for several years until moving to Burley, Idaho. Four years later they returned to South Dakota, living in Mobridge for a short time. They then lived in Minneapolis, Minn., and Pasco, Washington where her husband died 1972. She then moved to Edmonds to be near her son.
    She was a member of Hennipen Avenue Methodist Church in Minneapolis and a 50 year member of the Zarthan Chapter of Eastern Star.
    Survivors include two sons, John Munn of Edmonds and Don Munn of Largo, Florida; three sisters Mrs. Rose Scherer and Mrs. Dorothy Huber both of Mobridge, and Mrs. Christine Solomonson of Pollock; and four granddaughters.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, three brothers and four sisters.
    Casketbearers will be John Munn, Donald Munn, Ted Vander Vorste, Donald Peterson, Loren Johnson, Orval Kightlinger and Loren Pudwill.
    Organist will be Florence Meyer; the church choir will perform special music.
