OBITUARY
Reinhold Woehl, 88, Wishek, ND, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at Wishek Community Hospital, Wishek, ND. Reinhold Woehl was born Aug. 1, 1912, on the family farm 17 miles southwest of Wishek, ND, the son of Henry Woehl Sr. and Justina (Boschee) Woehl. He received his elementary education in Rosenfield School District and grew to manhood in the vicinity where he helped on the family farm. He and Ida Stern were married Nov. 10, 1935, at her parents' farm near Zeeland, ND. They made their home on a farm 18 miles southwest of Wishek from 1938 to 1956. They then moved to Tuttle, ND, where they farmed. In 1958 they moved to Bismarck. In 1960 they moved to a farm 16 miles southeast of Ashley, ND, until 1967. They returned to Bismarck and in 1971 they moved into Wishek. Following the death of his wife he had continued to reside in Wishek. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wishek and Senior Citizens. Surviving are his children, Wesley, Bismarck, ND, Donald (Judy), Redfield, SD; Thomas (Dianna), Wishek, ND; Gladys (Earl) Schneider, Ashley; Judie (Gary) Benjamin, Thompson, ND; 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters, Otto Woehl, Wishek, Albert Woehl, Bismarck, Leah (Johnny) Lindenman, Billings, MT, Alma (Sebastian) Engelhard, Aberdeen, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son, Victor, one granddaughter, four brothers and one sister. Funeral service was at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, in the Zion United Methodist Church in Wishek with Rev. Marty Toepke-Floyd officiating. Interment was in the Wishek City Cemetery in Wishek. Arrangements were by the Haut Funeral Homes in Wishek.
