    James O. Faul, 74, died Feb. 7, 2005, at his home, North Newton.
    He was born May 17, 1930, at Minneapolis, Minn., the son of Harry and Anna Klaassen Faul. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Augsburg College, Minneapolis, Minn., and a master's degree from the University of Minnesota and also attended Goshen Biblical Seminary for a year. He was a music teacher and piano tuner. He taught at Eagle Bend, Minn., Breck School for Boys, Minneapolis, Minn., Freeman Academy, Freeman, S.D., Bethel College, Walton High School, Newton Unified School District, Peabody-Burns Public Schools and Hillsboro Public School.
    He was an active member of Bethel College Mennonite Church, where he belonged to the Chancel Choir was an usher and was a member of the Music Committee. He belonged to Wichita Area V-8 Club, Heartland Cougar Club of Wichita, Scandinavian Society of Wichita and KAFCE (Kansas Association for Family and Community Education).
    On Sept. 6, 1958, he married Marlene Cole at Hanley Falls, Minn. She survives.
    Other survivors include: a daughter, Sharon Morris, Hutchinson; and three grandchildren.
    Graveside service will be at 2 pm. Friday in Gnadanau Cemetery, rural Hillsboro, with Pastor Norma Johnson presiding. Memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Bethel College Mennonite Church, North Newton, with Pastor Norma Johnson presiding. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday at 300 Wildwood Way, North Newton.
