    SIOUX CITY -- Mary Jane Urbach, 82, of Sioux City died Monday, March 8, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital.
    Services will be 2 p.m. today at Church of All Nations, with the Rev Martha Anderson and the Rev Fred Pilecki officiating. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in St. Paul, Minn., next to her husband, James. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on today. Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff is in charge of arrangements.
    Mary Jane was born April 8, 1927, in Sutton, Neb., to Benjamin C. and Edna (Hust) Schwab. She graduated from Sutton High School.
    She married James F. Urbach on June 7, 1946, in Sutton. They lived in York, Neb., from 1946 to 1959, when they moved to Worthington, Minn. In 1964, they moved to Fergus Falls, Minn., where they lived until moving to Sioux City in 1976.
    Mary was active in the family hatchery business in York, Neb., and was a real estate agent in Fergus Falls, Minn. From 1977 to 1997, she was in sales at Goodwill Industries. She also was the ambassador coordinator. Following her time at Goodwill, she was a volunteer coordinator for Senior Helpmate.
    She was active in Quota Club in Fergus Falls, Kiwanis Club, Goodwill Auxiliary and Joy Church Circle in Sioux City. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church, currently Church of All Nations. She had served as a Sunday School teacher, a youth leader and church circle.
    Mary is survived by her mother, Edna Schwab of York, Neb.; and two daughters, JoAnne Urbach Moody and her husband, Dr. Neville Moody of Livermore, Calif., and Susan Urbach of Norman, Okla.; and her sisters, Delores Townsend of York and LaVon Rasmussen also of York.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, James Urbach who died Aug. 2, 2005; and her father, Ben Schwab who died April 20, 1986.
    Memorials may be directed to Goodwill Industries.
