Ernest Remboldt, 85, Jamestown, died Feb. 27, 1997, in the Jamestown hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Streeter, with burial in the church cemetery.

Ernest Remboldt, 85, Jamestown, N.D., formerly Streeter, N.D., died Thursday, Feb. 27, 1997, in Jamestown Hospital.
Mr. Remboldt, known as Mike, was born Dec. 20, 1911, in Streeter, where he grew up and graduated from high school in 1930. He attended the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, and Interstate Business College, Fargo. He then worked for a short time for the Gamble-Robinson Co., Fargo. In 1942 he entered the U.S. Army and was stationed in the United States, Belgium, Germany and France. Following his military discharge in 1946, he worked for Streeter Lumber Co. Frieda Reeser, 98 years old, passed away Nov. 27, 2014, at the Arizona Pioneers Home. She was born on April 24, 1916, in Streeter, North Dakota. She spent her early years as a country school teacher.
She married Lloyd Reeser in 1936. They lived in Minnesota before moving to Arizona in 1956. She was a mother of Gene, Mike, Steve and Kathy.
Frieda enjoyed all kinds of arts, crafts and loved to bake. She was a charter member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church. Frieda became a deaconess as well as sang in the choir. She volunteered for many years for YRMC and Prescott People Who Care.
She is survived by many grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Services will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, at the Pioneer Home. In lieu of flowers, please give to The Salvation Army.
Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Gene D. Reeser was born October 31, 1939 in Moorhead, MN to Lloyd and Frieda (Remboldt) Reeser. He attended school in Canby, MN, through the eleventh grade, when his family moved to Prescott, AZ.
Upon moving to Arizona, Gene joined the Navy, serving in San Diego. After being Honorably Discharged from the Navy, Gene took a trip with a Naval buddy to Alpena, SD, where he met Bonnie Bennett. Gene married Bonnie on April 22, 1961, at the Methodist Parsonage in Huron.
Gene worked for Van Dykes in the Building Division and Zales Jewelery, before working for almost 20 years at Shoenhard Ford.
Gene loved golfing, yard work, bird watching, and giving his friends and family a hard time. He was a member of the Huron Elks Lodge 444 and Broadland Creek Golf Course.
Gene is survived by his mother, Frieda Reeser of Prescott, AZ; son, Robert (Barbara) Reeser of Maize, KS; grandchildren, Dylan (Melissa Clyde) Reeser, Whitney (Austin Johnson) Reeser; step grandchildren, Ashley (Jai) Jefferies of Kona, HI, Sarah Jorgensen of Wichita, KS; 3 great grandchildren, Rylee Reeser, Dominik Johnson, Ian Johnson; brothers Mike Reeser of Olathe, KS, Steve (Theresa) Reeser of Prescott, AZ; sister, Kathy Petersen of Denver, CO; many nieces and nephews.
Gene was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Bonnie on June 25, 2010; and step grandson, Cory Weisser.
His memorial service will be 11:00 am Monday, March 28, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church in Huron with a private family inurnment prior to the service including Military Rites by the Huron Veterans Council.
Memorial visitation will be from 1-8 pm Sunday March 27, 2011 at Welter Funeral Home with family present from 6-8 pm.
