  Rosemarie Hazel Chapman: Born: Jun 1878 www.findagrave.com: www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=79716995 Mrs. Ackerman Mrs. Katie Kitzman Ackerman answered the final summons, Saturday morning at 9 o'clock, at her home northeast of town. Mrs. Ackerman had been in poor health since last August, her sickness being of a peculiar nature and which seemed to baffle the attending physicians. About two months ago she gave birth to a child and since then her health, at times, has been very poor. Two weeks ago her condition seemed greatly improved and she came to town and spent a week at the home of her brother, Geo. Kitzman, and was able to attend church a week ago Sunday. Thanksgiving day she was taken with severe pains in her head and remarked, "If this pain in my head don't stop it, will drive me crazy." These were the last words she uttered, being suddenly taken with paralysis. She remained in an unconscious condition until the time of her death. The deceased was born in 1880 and for the past three years has resided with her husband and children, on their farm northeast of town. She is survived by her husband and four children, her parents, two brothers and a sister. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the German Reformed church and interment took place in the Gregory cemetery. Mrs. Ackerman was a devoted wife and mother and her untimely death casts a gloom over the community and leaves a place in the home that can never be filled. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.
