  Kenneth Nedens: Born: Reinhein Germany Debharrvey: Data from Igor Pleve of Saratov University, given to me in 1993 in Saratov, shows Johann Georg Buxmann (born 1743 or 1744) and his wife, Amma Maria Schmidt, as the first Buxmanns to enter Russia from Germany after the invitation of the Czaress, Catharina the Great. They were said to be of the Evangelical (Lutheran) faith, and from the village of Reinheim (FUberau) near Darmstadt, and Johann George was a tailor by trade. Pleve further reports that on August 16, 1767 they, with Johann Georg's brother (Johann Jakob, born in 1753) went [presumably from Saratov where they had been 'processed'] to the colony of MFuller. Pleve also notes a question mark as to whether Anna Maria was born in 1737 or 1734.
