Kathryn Irma Willson Kemmerer, 98, died Tuesday, May 18, 1993, at Clark Fork valley Nursing Home in Plains.
She was born on May 7, 1895 at Merrill, Wisconsin to Ferdinand and Nellie Haase. She resided in Thompson Falls for many years and worked as a telephone operator there for 13 years.
She was past Worthy Matron of Mount Silcox Chapter 111 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the Thompson Falls Grange and John Robb VFW Post Auxiliary.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Nellie and Maurice Hakanson of Tacoma, Washington; one sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Robert Lacy of Plains; two stepsons, Louis Kemmerer of Junction City, Oregon and Frank Kemmerer of Three Forks, Montana; three stepdaughters, Fern McDonald of Othello, Washington, Esther Mund of Salmon, Idaho and Lorene Church of Beaverton, Oregon; one daughter-in-law, Alice Werner of Mesa, Arizona; four grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many step-great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Marjorie; one son, Robert; her husband, Homer Willson; her second husband, Harry Kemmerer; and two brothers, Irvin and Lyle Haase.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 20, 1993, at 1:00 p.m. at the Community Congregational Church in Thompson Falls. Rev. Gaylund Olson will officiate. Burial with Eastern Star rites will follow at Fraternal Cemetery in Thompson Falls.
Coffelt-Bunch Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Community Congregational Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
