  Karen Abel: UID: 9096CAE85549463684207925615F45124B2B OBITUARY Jamestown Sun, Jamestown, ND. Funeral services for Mrs. Magdalena Wohl, 93, of Cleveland.. Interment will be in the Cleveland Cemetery.. Mrs. Wohl died Wednesday at the Hi-Acres Nursing Home after having been in ailing health the past year. Born Aug. 24, 1885, in Johannestal, Russia, Mrs. Wohl was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Stephan Staiger. She attended school in Russia and came to the US when she was 12 years old with her parents who settled in McIntosh County, near Ashley, ND. She married Peter Wohl on Feb. 22, 1906; and they farmed in the Cleveland area until 1942 when they retired and moved into Cleveland. Her husband died Dec. 8, 1971. Mrs. Wohl came to Jamestown in 1975 to make her home at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of the Church of God 7th-day in Alfred. She is survived by 10 children, Mrs. Emelia Lang and Mrs. Louise Lang, Lincoln, NE; Mrs. John Lang (Sophia) and Asaph Wohl, Cleveland; Mrs. Rachel Trautman and Ted Wohl, Jamestown; Freddie Wohl, Phoenix, AZ; Herb Wohl, Scottsdale, AZ; Mrs. Al Wolff (Lorraine) Auburn, WA; and Mrs. Carl Branson (Alice), White Gourt, Alberta, Can.; 43 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Emelia Weller, Spokane, WA, and Mrs. Lydia Graf, Sacramento, CA.
