McClusky Gazette.
Mrs. Tillie Bauer Dies December 3rd. She died in a Bismarck hospital. Mrs. Bauer had been in ill health since suffering a stroke and resultant heart condition since 1956. A resident of McClusky 45 years.. Born at Medina, October 16, 1903, she was a daughter of Christian Geissler and Christina Woehl Geissler. She married November 15, 1923 to John F. Bauer Jr. They were parents of 2 daughters, Mrs. Glen (Laverne) Swendsen and Mrs. Charles (Frances) Siders. Surviving are her 2 daughters, 4 granddaughters, Judith, Kirsten, Julie and Kathleen Swendsen and 3 grandsons, William, Lowell and Paul Siders. Also 1 brother, Henry Geissler, and 2 sisters, Katherine Klein and Mrs. J.R. (Sophie) Klundt. She was preceded in death by her husband.
