Henry Geissler, 83, died Wednesday, May 25.. Burial was in the Durham Park Cemetery. he was born Feb. 4, 1894, in Wishek, ND, the son of Christian and Christine (Wohl) Geissler. On March 6 1916, he and Julia Zimmerman were married in Durham by his brother, the Rev. Peter Geissler. They farmed for many years in the Durham community before moving to Hillsboro, where he worked for 14 years in the Co-op Creamery.. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, and one son-in-law, Willard Goertz. Surviving are his wife; 2 daughters, Leona Goertz of Wichita, and Jan and husband Duwane Miller of Garden Grove, CA; one son, Vernon and wife Winnifred Geissler of Lawrence; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
