Pastor at Tampa and Durham 1910 - 1912; 5th Ave Baptist Church, Chicago, IL 1913; Durham, Kansas 1913-1916; Muscatine and Victor, IA, 1916-1921; Okeene, OK 1921-1925; Sheffield, IA 1925-1928; Bethel Baptist Church, Buffalo, NY, 1928-1942; Avon, SD 1942-1950; Retired Rochester NY Nov. 26, 1964."

Peter Geissler was born in Odessa, Russia in 1882 and came to the US with his parents the following year. They settled near Medina, Dakota Territory. He attended the Baptist seminary in Rochester, NY, and was ordained. He served as a pastor in: Durham, KS; Okeene, OK; Muscatine, IA; Chicago, IL; Buffalo, NY; and Avon, SD. After retirement, he moved to Rochester, NY, where he died on 26 Nov 1964. Survivors: daughter Edna M. Geissler; daughter-in-law Marian K. Geissler; 3 sisters and 1 brother.
