In the year 1877 he came to America and settled at Sutton, Nebraska. On Dec 9, 1879 he was united in marriage to Christina Reichert and to this union 7 children were born; Leha, Lydia, Wilhelm, Martha, Albert, Arthur and Leon. Hie wife, Christina passed away Oct 7, 1906. In March, 1907, Mr. Hust moved to Imperial and settled on a farm there and married Mrs. Sophia Kauk. She preceded him in death on May 21, 1924. He again was united in marriage to Mrs. Magdalene Reichert on Dec 26, 1924. In 1928, he returned to Sutton from Imperial.
