In 1880, Charles Huntoon moved from Illinois to Laporte, Ind. with his parents. In Indiana, he met and married Edith E. Eaton. He was a linotype operator at a publishing company. In the early 1900's, Charles moved his family to Illinois settling in Elgin, Cook Co., Illinois. Charles and Edith lived the remainder of their life at 388 Congdon Ave. in Elgin, Ill.
