! Information from the McLean County ND Heritage Book pg 294 Gilbert farmed in McLean County taking over the mestead from his father. He received a diploma from the US School of Music in New York and was an accomplished concertina player. The entire family was musical and did much entertaining the the surrounding area. In September of 1965 they moved to Bismarck, ND where Gilbert was a private music teacher and operated a music store from his home. Gilbert taught guitar and accordian.
