  Lisa Montoya: UID: D862BB0542214C2CAF4DD1BAF10548E27C20 Born: 8 Feb 1952 www.findagrave.com: www.findagrave.com/memorial/87416215/martha-marie-suck Source: The Palmer Journal, February 14, 1952, page 1 Martha Marie (Wegner) Suck passed peacefully away in her sleep early Tuesday morning, February 5, 1952 at her home in Palmer, Nebraska, having reached the age of 65 years, 1 month and 18 days. She had suffered a lingering illness. She was a daughter of William and Bertha Wegner, born at Archer, Nebraska, December 18, 1886. All her life was lived in the vicinity of Archer and Palmer with the exception of the three first years of her married life which was spent at Greeley, Nebraska. On December 6, 1905 she was united in marriage to Albert J. Suck. To this union were born five daughters, namely, Esther, Mildred, Dorothy, Bernice and Alberta, and one son, Milton. In early youth she united with the Zion E. U. B. church of which she was a faithful member to the end. She was active as a Sunday School teacher, also with the young people. As long as her health permitted she was active in church work. She was a good Christian and lived an exemplary life. In her illness she was cheerful, and always had a smile for those who came to see her. The church and her family were uppermost in her life. Mourning her departure are her husband; daughters Mrs. Esther Goerl of Archer, Mrs. Mildred Rawlings of Central City, Mrs. Dorothy Conway of Elba, Mrs. Bernice Brandes of Central City, and Mrs. Alberta Chestnut of Temple City, California; son Milton Suck of Palmer; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Riggs of Central City, and Mrs. Dora Hanson of Archer; three brothers, Albert Wegner of Archer, William Wegner of Denby, South Dakota, and Louis Wegner of Archer; also many other relatives and friends. Her parents, two brothers, three sisters and one grandson preceded her in death.
