  Ronlyn - www.ancestry.com/trees/awt/main.aspx: George Clever, youngest son of Conrad Clever, was born 4 Jan 1819 inCumberland Co, PA, d. 19 Feb 1905. In 1850 he laid out Cleversburg andwas the Postmaster for 35 years, and served one year as jury commissionerand for a number of years was a member of the school board. He was also adirector of the First National Bank of Shippensburg. Additionally, he hadbeen a farmer, operated a grist mill, ran a general store and later addeda saw mill. He ended up with six or seven stores in Cumberland Co,invested wisely in real estate, purchased farms and village propertyuntil he owned a great deal of valuable property. Another of hisaccomplishments was in the iron industry..in mining and shipping ore.
