Mary Ann Morgen, age 65, of New Holstein died Saturday February 25, 2006 at the Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.
She was born July 24, 1940 in Fullerton, North Dakota a daughter of the late Konrad & Johanna Gemar Ackerman. Mary Ann had attended Lakeland College. On August 27, 1960 she married Paul Schilling in Fullerton, North Dakota; he preceded her in death on July 9, 1977. On November 27, 1982 she married Donald Morgen at St. John United Church of Christ in New Holstein.
Mary Ann worked at First National Bank in New Holstein until her retirement in 2005. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in New Holstein.
Survivors include her husband Donald of New Holstein; her children, Scott (Victoria) Schilling of Fond du Lac, Michael Schilling of San Francisco, CA, Linda (Don) Hess of Neenah, David Morgen & Pat Olson of Maple Grove, MN, Keith (Pamela) Morgen of Madison, Paul (Kathie) Morgen of Wausau and Allan (Jennifer) Morgen of Plymouth; 15 grandchildren, Danielle, Ryan, Erika, Isabelle and Olivia Schilling, Emily & Katherine Hess, Samuel & Lucas Morgen, Anna, Mary Katherine & Peter Morgen, Jessica, Christopher & Andrew Morgen. She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband Paul Schilling.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday March 1, 2006 at St. John United Church of Christ 2111 Church Street New Holstein. Rev. James E. Werner, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the New Holstein City Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Sippel Funeral Home 2618 Altona Ave. New Holstein on Tuesday February 28 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday March 1 from 1 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund will be established in her name. The family of Mary Ann Morgen express their gratitude to the many people who showed their caring and concern during Mary Ann's lengthy illness. We also give a special thank you to Tom & Jan Bal-dock for their support especially during the many doctor visits.
