From the Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Telephone, September 23, 1910: Å“Otis Harrell and wife, of San Francisco, came east accompanying their daughter who has just been married to Donald Moris(sic), of Columbus, O., and is now on a honeymoon. Mr. Harrell is on the police department at San Francisco and has the most busy corner in that city as he is stationed at Powell and Market streets where between the hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. there passes 1860 street cars.. In talking to The Telephone today he said that he left here 35 years ago. Returning to his old home near Smithville he found several acquaintances.Â
Another article from the Bloomington Telephone a few days later: Å“A notable in the lives of the Harrell families of this county was the reunion held Sunday at the home of W.C. Fess, south of town, whose wife is a member of the Harrell family. The event was in honor of Otis Harrell and wife who are here from San Francisco.. The members of the family present were: Levi Johnson and wife, Rachael Harrell, John Harrell and family, Lemuel Harrell and family, Thomas Harrell and family, Lee Strain and wife, Lewis Harrell and wife, Stace Harrell and wife, Samuel Harrell and family, James Harrell and family, Dona Strain and family, Ballard Stultz and family, Carrie Smiley, W.C. Fess and family, Ola Fess Tell and family.Â
