Harold Anthony (Tony) InDelicato, 44, of Petoskey, died Nov. 23, 1988, at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 26, at St. Francis Xavier Church, Petoskey. The Rev. Andre Schludecker officiated and burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Petoskey.
Mr. InDelicato was born Aug. 23, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Harold A. and Arlene R. (Kinch) InDelicato. He attended school in various cities while his father was stationed in the U.S. Navy.
In 1961, Mr. InDelicato entered the U.S. Navy and served on the U.S.S. Essex, an aircraft carrier, during the Vietnam conflict. He then attended Bryant Business College where he received an associate’s degree in business administration. He then attended the University of Connecticut and received a metallurgist degree.
In 1981, he moved to Grand Rapids and was employed with Zondervan Publishing Co.
In 1964, he married the former Florence Harrington in Kentwood.
The couple resided there until April, 1988, when they moved to Petoskey.
Mr. InDelicato was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church; the American Veterans Association and the American Institute of Plant Engineers.
Survivors include: his wife; five sons, Tony InDelicato Jr., Michael InDelicato and Stephen InDelicato, all of Esmond, R.I., Ronald Babcock of Sarasota, Fla., Ryan InDelicato of Petoskey; two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Cheryl) Garver of Pontiac and Marilyn Kishigo of East Tawas; two grandchildren; two sisters, Antoinette (Tonni) InDelicato of Grand Rapids and Colleen Tetnnant of Ada, several nieces and nephews.
