Lillian Albrecht was born March 18, 1928, in Linton, to August and Pauline Herbold Sauter. She passed away Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2008. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 05, at Bismarck Baptist Church, 2211 E. Laforest Avenue. refreshments will follow the service. Cremation has taken place.
Lillian grew up in the Linton area. In 1949, she married Ben Albrecht and moved to Bismarck. After attending night school and receiving her GED, she worked at the State Library, the State Motor Vehicle Departmant and in sales for Woolworth. Lillian was a cub scout leader for many years and loved to read, do crossword puzzles, walk, attend church, bible study, events at the senior center and shop.
Lillin had a wonderful sense of humor, remarkable style and a contagious smile.
She is survived by her children, Roger and Gary; her daughter-in-law, Martha; her grandchildren, Nicole and Cameron Cain, Alex, LeeAnn and Alissa Albrecht and Dustman Gettman; her great grandchildren, Kirin Cain and Naomie Gettman. Also surviving Lillian are one brother, Alvin Sauter; and four sisters, Edna Bossert, Phyllis Will, Betty Staiger and Ilene Ellestad.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben, in 1976.
