Ralph Taylor of Minneapolis, Kansas, was born September 6, 1909, at Guide Rock, Nebraska, and died Tuesday morning, February 13, 1973, at the Ottawa, Kansas, county hospital following a Monday night heart attack. He was 63 years of age.
He was married to Golda Anna Weigel on November 5, 1931. To this union one son was born, George of Minneapolis.
Ralph was employed by the Minneapolis Chevrolet-Olds-Buick garage for the past 37 years. His present employer was Chuck Stein.
He was a devoted father and husband and took great delight in his grandchildren.
Survivors are his wife Golda, of the home; the son, George and his wife Shirley and their three children, Kimberly, Mitchell and Shawn; a brother, Ed of Salem, Oregon; two sisters, Miss Mary Taylor of Minneapolis, and Mrs Lydia Schultz of Guide Rock, Nebraska; other relatives and a host of friends and neighbors.
The funeral service was held Thursday, February 15, at 2:00 pm at the Haley Funeral Home with Rev James Hutchinson officiating. Music was furnished by Mrs Jack Smith who sang, "The Lord's Prayer" accompanied by Mrs Bill Hemenway.
Burial was in Highland Cemetery. Pallbearers were, Dick Hardy, Dick Whitney, C O St Clair, Chuck Stein, Jim Kay and Paul Smith.
