He was born in Belmont County, Ohio, July 1, 1818, and came with his parents to Monroe County, Ohio, A.D. 1831. Died March 14, A.D. 1906, aged 87 years eight months and thirteen days.
He was a member of The Moose Ridge U. B. Church and died in full triumph of the Christian faith.
He was married twice; 1- Sarah A. Moose, at about the age of fifteen years. To this union were born six children, three boys and three girls, the oldest being 72 years of age.
2- Elizabeth W. Keyser, his second wife in 1847. To this union were born ten children, six boys and four girls. His second wife died about nine years ago.
Mr. Nalley was the father of sixteen children, grandfather of 85 children, great grandfather of 57 children and the great-great grandfather of seven children.
Two of his children preceded him.
The funeral services were conducted by T.W. Bishop, leader of The Moose Ridge U.B. Church. The remains were laid to rest in The Moose Ridge Cemetery to await general resurrection. W.K.
