Henrietta C. Weist Cook, 81, of Helena, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at a local hospital.
Henrietta was born July 3, 1926, on a farm in Agawam, the daughter of Henry and Christina Zimbelman Weist. She was raised and attended school in Agawam before attending high school in Choteau, where she graduated in 1944.
She married Seth Cook and together they had three daughters. They were later divorced.
She worked at the county treasurer's office in Choteau before moving to Helena in 1978. While in Helena, she worked for the Department of Transportation until her retirement in 1991. She later was a senior companion at Rocky Mountain Development.
Henrietta enjoyed traveling to California to visit her sister. She also enjoyed gardening and taking care of her beautiful flower beds. She liked to play cards and especially loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.
Henrietta is survived by her three daughters, Vicki (Diana Fryhling) Cook, Kathy (Don) Gordon and Joleen (Scott) Vogl; grandchildren, Randy, Nicole and Marissa Vogl, and Tyler and Davin Gordon; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made on Henrietta's behalf to the Eagles Manor, 715 N. Fee St., Helena, MT 59601, or to the Senior Companion Program at Rocky Mountain Development, 200 S. Cruse Ave., Helena, MT 59601.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Nov. 9, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 7100 N. Montana Ave. A reception will follow the graveside services at the Eagles Manor.
