He farmed with his father until he entered the military service. He served in the U.S. Army as a tank driver during W.W. II from 1943 to 1945. After his discharge, he returned to the family farm where he lived and worked until moving to Choteau in 1961. He continued working the farm until 1975 when he went to work for E.P.Ekegren as a diesel mechanic until he retired in 1983. Raymond passed away at the age of 77 at his home in Choteau. Funeral Services were held May 12 and internment at the Choteau Cemetery.
