MAROHN--Monday, Jan. 24, at 11 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dietrich Buehler, at Merton, Wis. Mrs. Caroline Marohn, aged 93 years. Funeral from chapel of J. W. Niemann & Son, 1072 Kinnickinnic av. Thursday, Jan. 27, at 2 p.m. Interment Forest Home Cemetery. Handwritten obit (probably Ida Buehler): Mrs. Carolin Marohn--nee Bock born Sept. 27, 1827 in Godgimirz K. Schuben, Prov. Posen, K-Preussen, Germany--and was married to Jacob Marohn in 1849-- In 1956 they came to America and settled in Watertown Wis-- Her husband died in Feb. 20--1889. They had 11 children, 3 of which died in their youth and one son died but a few years ago. She is survived by 7 children, 18 Grandchildren21 Great Grandchildren. She passed away Jan. 24th at 10:50 P.M. Census record (1870) indicate she was born in 1819; 1860 census in 1830. Ship records indicate she was born in about 1830. 1900 census in Sept 1827
