  Leibbrandt: Information from McLean County, ND Heritage Book pg 267-268 John and Fredricka were married in Yankton, SD. In 1902 they and their 3 children, Oscar, Helen, and Ruth moved from Lesterville, SD to Underwood, ND where John built a large general mercantile store that he owned and operated for many years. He was vitally interested in the develpment of Underwood, and was noted for his generosity, and extending credit to everyone for miles around. Around 1935 the Sayler family moved to Aberdeen, SD and ran a neighborhood grocery store. Later in life John and Fredricka moved to Mitchell, SD with their daughter Lavinia and her husband. This is where they spent the later years of their life and are buried in Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell, SD. The McLean County History Book gives Johannes death date as Dec 29 1861. Information found in the Sheridan County, ND History Book pg 647 gives Johannes death date as Jan 4 1962.
