  www.findagrave.com: www.findagrave.com/memorial/82090597/gregory-kent-aitken Greg Aitken passed away on Dec. 7th, 2011, surrounded by his daughters and family at his home among the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. He was born on Jan. 15th 1948 in Chicago, Ill. and moved to Needles, Calif. when he was eight years old. He grew up on the Colorado River, which he loved dearly. After graduating with the Needles High School class of 1965, he attended Arizona State University where he became a lifetime Sun Devil fan and a special education teacher. Throughout his career, he pursued his music by writing songs and playing the saxophone and flute. He worked for the Sedona school district for the past 18 years, teaching music, weight lifting and special education. He was a devoted father, husband, son, brother, uncle, musician, teacher, coach and friend. We will all miss his passionate approach to life. He had an electric smile and an engaging personality. He is survived by his mother and father, Jim and Dorothy Aitken; his sister, Jami, and her children Michael and Sarah; his wife, Beth, and their daughters, Lydia and Emily
