Doris Sibylle Zimpelman, 76, of Sierra Vista passed away peacefully, Thursday, August 16, 2018. Doris has been a resident of Sierra Vista since 1984.
Doris was Born in Karlsruhe, Germany, on September 13, 1941, to Franz Walczak and Charlotte Mall. Doris had one older brother, Klaus Mall, who also peacefully passed away within minutes of Doris on Thursday, August 16, 2018.
Doris is preceded in death by her parents; brother; infant daughter, Carolyn; and husband, Orrin Zimpelman.
Doris is survived by her longtime companion, Edward Edwards; sons: Thomas (Sheri) Zimpelman, Steven (Cristy) Zimpelman, and Clayton Zimpelman; daughters: Sanni (Thomas) VonWissel and Tracey Kolodzie; nine grandchildren: Kandi, Dakota, Odette, Kaitlyn, Zoey, Florian, Lisa, Felix, and Samantha; and four great-grandchildren: Avianna, Ethan, Zailyn, and Max.
Services will include a visitation viewing (open casket) at Jensen’s Mortuary, 5515 S. Hwy 92, on Wednesday evening, August 22, 5-7p.m.; rosary at St. Andrew’s Church Thursday morning, August 23, at 10:00 a.m., with funeral Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 a.m. There will not be any services at the cemetery.
