  James-Sergent : Born: 1822 Karen Abel: UID: 988D65A4CB97439B9216677967D00B2B63ED Born: Abt 1820/1821 NOTE It is not absolutely certain that this is the Charlotta that married Johann Philipp Krauss and Johannes Roth. However, her ages in various records makes it seem likely. There is also the fact that Charlotta's mother, Margaretha Harr, died in Alexanderhilf (where Charlotta was living) in 1870. None of Margaretha's other children appear to have lived there. It is certain that the widow Charlotta Krauss (nee Harr) married Johannes Roth of Alexanderhilf. Charlotta Roth died on 19 Aug 1877 in Alexanderhilf at age 52 years, 5 months. What is odd is that the record indicates that she was born in Petersburg. YEAR OF BIRTH In her father's passport document of January 1826, her age is given as 4 years. In the March 1858 Census for Worms her age is given as 38. These would suggest a birth in about 1820-1821. Her age at death suggests a birth in March of 1825. Since her first child was born in 1841, it seems likely that her age at death was incorrect.
