Lillian Nies Hinrichs, 78, of San Diego, formerly of Victor died Aug. 28 in La Jolla after a short illness. She was born Lillian Nies on Jan 3, 1916 in Victory.
Mrs. Hinrichs graduated from Lodi High School in 1935. She alsop graduated from Business College in Stockton. She also lived in Daly City, Sacramento and San Diego.
Mrs. Hirichs worked for several years as an insurance agent in Sacramento and Daly CIty. She was also employed by Pearson & Ford as an insurance agent in San Diego for 25 years before her retirement.
She was a member of Sale United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Hindrichs enjoyed traveling and visited many foreign countries, including China when it was first opened to tourists. She also collected fine antiques.
Mrs. Hindrichs is survived by a friend of 35 years, Gerald Handley; one steo-mother, Amelia Nies; two sisters, Lorene Hoffman of Acampo and Esther Nickel of Lodi; one brother, Marvin NIes of Lodi.
