The funeral for Mavis Quenzer, 28, of Aberdeen, was at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday from First Baptist Church with Reverend Harold E. Salem officiating.
Burial was at Eureka, South Dakota.
Mavis died at her home from stab wounds Thursday or Friday.
Mavis Fay Quenzer was born to Adam Karl Quenzer and Freida M. Seibold at Eureka. She lived there until moving to Watertown, South Dakota, in 1984. She moved to Aberdeen in 1988, where she had resided since.
She was a dietary aide at the Aberdeen Adjustment Training Center.
Survivors include her mother of Eureka; two sisters, Christal (Gary) Krein of Rapid City and Joyce (Lyle) Dabbert of Sioux Falls; one brother, Lyle Quenzer of Rapid City; three nieces and three nephews.
Her father preceded her in death in 1975.
