Roger A. Lehr, 84, of Harrisburg passed way unexpectedly on Thursday, November 17, at Community General Hospital.
Roger was born July 16, 1932, in Jametown, ND, the son of the late Aaron and Lea Lehr.
Roger is survived by his wife Irene Musson Lehr; son David Lehr, MN; daughter Beth Smart, CO; stepdaughter Yvonne English, Clarks Summit, PA; stepson Christopher Gumble, Nicholson, PA; brother Jerry Lehr, IA; sister Mona Wyatt, AZ; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Roger was a Mason and a member of the Progress Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg. Roger and his wife were 21 yr. deliverers of Meals on Wheels in the Harrisburg area. Retired from Harrisburg Wall and Floor, he enjoyed traveling with his wife, golf, and spent countless hours creating beautiful cross stitch pictures for his family members.
A military service will be conducted Monday, November 28, 10:30 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Memorial services will be the same day, 12:00 Noon, at Progress Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, 3640 Ash Street, Harrisburg, PA. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Inc.
