Funeral services were held Monday at Forsyth for William Brockel, 63. Mr. Brockel died June 18, 1976, at his home west of Forsyth. He had lived in the Howard community since 1941.
He was born November 01, 1912, at Selby, South Dakota, a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Brockel. His parents moved to Rosebud County in 1913. He attended schools in the Vananda area.
Survivors include the widow; four daughters, Mrs. Jean Schmittou of Billings, Mrs. Willa Arbogast, Mrs. Waneeta Thompson and Shelley Brockel, all of Forsyth; six grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard Brockel of Forsyth, and Lee Brockel of Whitefish; and two sisters, Mrs. Betty Brown of Whitefish and Mrs. Barbara Simon of Sheridan Wyoming.
Reverend Leo Tormoehlen of Concordia Lutheran Church officiated at services conducted from Beals Mortuary.
Burial took place in the Forsyth cemetery.
