MARILYN J. BECK, 80, of Brooklyn Heights, N.Y., died Saturday June 30, 2012, at Long Island College Hospital, Brooklyn, N.Y.
Born May 14, 1932, in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Ruth Knight Beck.
Miss Beck was a public school teacher in New York City for a number of years.
Surviving are her stepmother, Angie Beck of Bloomington, Indiana, a stepsister, Patricia Lutton of North Middleton, Indiana.
Also surviving are three cousins, Carlton Pheil, Duane Beck and Delores Beck along with four nieces.
In addition to her parents, Miss Beck was preceded in death by her grand parents Edward and Laura Myers Beck.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday July 6, 2012 at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home Inc., Mercersburg, with Reverend Craig Loewen officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Mercersburg. Viewing one hour prior to the services Friday at the funeral home.
