  www.findagrave.com: www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=45256079 LEROY P. SHOCKEY, 43, died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at his home near Ringgold, Smithsburg R. D. 3. He had been in failing health for several years. Mr. Shockey was born at Smithsburg R. D. 3, May 26, 1930, son of Mrs. Mildred M. (Pittman) Shockey and the late Ralph Shockey. All his life was lived in the Ringgold area. As a young man he worked on the family farm operated by his father and late uncle Lloyd Shockey. Since 1966, Mr. Shockey had been employed as a clerk in the stock room at Landis Tool Co. He was a member of the Welty Church of the Brethren and for a number of years taught in the church Sunday School. In addition to his mother, at home, he is survived by a brother, Henry H. Shockey Waynesboro R.D. 4, a niece and a nephew. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Grove Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Norman Cain. Burial will be in the Ringgold Cemetery.
