She was the wife of Ralph Brandt of Florida. Born in Cleona on May 19, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna M. Books Shepler. Leah worked as a secretary at Lebanon Valley College in Annville. She was a member of Zion Goshert's United Church of Christ and enjoyed crafting, crewel working, beading and sewing. In addition to her husband Leah is survived by her son R. Lamar Smith and wife Roberta of Lebanon and grandson Corey L. Smith of Anthem, AZ. She was preceded in death by her three brothers Lloyd, Clair and Therwin Shepler. Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 14, 2013 at 2:00PM from the Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory 618 E. Main St. Annville. Interment will be in Grand View memorial Park, Annville. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
