Minnie M. Giese of Odessa, born Aug 23, 1897 in Bridgewater, NC to June and Marietta Dobson. One of 14 children in the family, she moved with them to the Washington towns of Hay and Moody where she attended school through the eighth grade. She was a member of the English Congregational Church for more than 50 years and was a charter member of the Odessa Grange. Survived by 1 son, 2 daughters, 1 sister, 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and by two sons, Daniel and Bud.
