Eberlein. George was b. 9 Sept. 1900, d. Mar. 1969, Jupiter, Palm Beach Co., FL; Elsie, b. 26 Oct. 1902; d. 27 Feb. 1978, Jupiter, Palm Beach, FL.
Bob's paternal grandparents were Nicholas and Mary Eberlein. They are found in a 1905 NJ State Census along with their son George Nicholas Eberlein who was 4 yrs old. Nicholas was b. ca 1877 and Mary was b. ca 1878, both in Germany. Nicholas immigrated in 1899 and Mary immigrated in 1895.
In 1930, the Eberleins were living in Elizabeth, Union Co., NJ. They had one child, Robert.
Robert G. Eberlein passed away at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.
He had been a resident of Juno Beach for 20 years, coming from Toms River, NJ. Bob was a veteran of WWII with the U.S. Coast Guard.
He was a graduate of Syracuse University (NY) and was associated with IBM for over 30 years. He held several managerial positions involving the manufacture of products culminating in the World Trade Division Headquarters in White Plains, NY. He conducted innumerable seminars and lectures worldwide. He was past president of the APCS and Oak Harbor Condo Assn.
He is survived by two sons and their families. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Eberlein and his parents.
His funeral was held August 28, 2005 at the Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home in Jupiter, FL with entombment at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta, FL. The U.S. Coast Guard conducted a Military Graveside Service.
