Norma Straub Obituary Norma Jean Straub, 84, entered into eternal life Monday, January 26, 2015, at the Namaste’ Alzheimer Center, Colorado Springs. Norma was born April 19, 1930, in lngalls, Ks. She was the daughter of Fred and Anna (Hadley) Ausmus. She was the 4th child of 7 children. Norma attended school in Garden City and Russell Springs, Ks. She graduated from Russell Springs High School in 1948. Norma married John Straub in August of 1948. To this marriage, one daughter was born. Throughout their married life John and Norma lived in Russell Springs, Garden City, Amarillo, and Denver. Norma worked for various oil companies and was an Amway Distributer throughout her life. After retirement she enjoyed working at White Fence Farms Gift Shop. After John passed away in 2002, Norma enjoyed driving to Texas to visit her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were the love of her life. She cherished the time spent with them and always had many pictures to show her family and friends.
