Peter worked as a Milwaukee Railroad machinist and was a resident of Mobridge since 1922, he died at his home here June 12, 1953. Services were conducted by the Rev. K.G.Sievert of Northwestern Lutheran Academy and burial was in Greenwood Cemetery here. Mr Green was born in Venturia, N.D., January 1, 1894. He lived for a number of years at Herreid, where he married May 19, 1916, prior to moving Mobridge 31 years ago. Mr Green was a member of the local Railway brotherhood and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife Lydia Fischer Green, two daughters Mrs. Eugene (Pearl) McChesney of Spokane, Washington and Mrs Henry (Viola) Tisdall of Selby, South Dakota; three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Christine) Sherman, of Toledo, Oregon, Mrs Oscar (Katie) Leverson of Portland, Oregon and Mrs. Eric (Lydia) Larson of Juneau, Alaska.
