Notizen - Leibbrandt-com-leibbrandt_archive-Lybrand_USA-Sayler1:
! 1948 Wishek ND Book (The Spirit of Wishek ) Pg 99 Henry Gall lived in Worms, South Russia with his parents until he was 12 years old. In 1899 his family left their home in South Russia for America. The first settlement was at Tyndale, SD. Here they resided until 1906 when they came to Wishek and settled 14 miles west of town. Mr. Gall recalls that the family moved to Wishek in January of that year. and the weather was so severe and the snow so deep the town was without train service for a whole month. The train was stalled in huge snow dirfts at the Monango crossing. After his marriage to Katharina Sayler, the young couple moved to Hettinger, ND where they lived until Sept 1909 when they returned to Wishek and took a homestead on land five miles NW of Wishek. On this farm they brought up their six children. One son, Henry took over the farm. In 1941, the Galls moved to Wishek where they resided the rest of their life. - www.findagrave.com:
