  www.findagrave.com: www.findagrave.com/memorial/57962204/alvah-truman-gee Source: The Palmer Journal, April 5, 1956, page 1: Truman Alvah Gee, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Truman Gee, was born July 1, 1897 on a farm between Palmer and Fullerton. He passed away at his home in Palmer March 30, 1956 at the age of 58 years, 8 months and 29 days, following many months of ill health. He was united in marriage to Etoile Colborn on June 28, 1919. To this union were born eight children. He became a member of the Palmer Church of Christ on October 10, 1908. He was a charter member of the American Legion. Alvah Gee was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ella Liberty and Lena Scott. He is survived by his wife, Etoile; his children, Mrs. Gertrude Andrews of Denver, Colorado, Wayne of Palmer, Richard of Grand Island, Mrs. Virginia Leth of St. Paul, Jay of Central City, Lyle of Palmer, Mrs. Betty Killion of Palmer, Suzanne of Palmer, one sister, Mrs. Lura Wilson of Mahaska, Kansas; two brothers, George Gee of Watsonville, California, John Gee of Central City; many, many relatives and a host of friends.
