      Olga Huber, 91, Carson, ND passed away at the Jacobson Memorial Hospital and Care Center in Elgin early Saturday morning, August 4th.
      The funeral service will be held at 10:30am Wednesday, Aug. 8 at the Emmaus United Church of Christ in Carson. Pastor Dale Carmen will officiate with burial in the Emmaus Congregational Cemetery northwest of Carson.
      Special music will be provided by Martha Jacobs, organist. Serving as casketbearers are Wayne Huber, Harold Huber, Darwyn Diehl, Patrick Diehl, David Huber, Mark Taplin, Melissa Leberta, and Elizabeth Huber. All grandchildren and great grandchildren are considered honorary bearers.
      Olga Blumhardt Huber was born Sept. 11, 1915 in Grant County to Gottlieb and Rosina (Schroeder) Blumhardt. She grew up on the family farm north of Elgin and received her early education near there. She was married to Herbert Huber in Carson, ND on March 29, 1936. At his passing in 2002, they were married for 66 years. Their union was blessed with two daughters and two sons. Over the years, she and Herbert were active in the Carson community, raising their family there. They owned the Home Cafe' in Carson where she did most of the cooking. When they sold the cafe', she began working at the Carson school and cooked there for 17 years.
      In September of 2000 she entered the Elm Crest Manor in New Salem, and in July of 2002 moved to the Jacobson Memorial Hospital and Care Center where she lived until her death.
      Olga was a member of Emmaus Congregation UCC, active in the Dorcas Circle of her church and a 50 year member of Our Community Homemakers Club.
      Surviving are her sons, Harold (Jo'an) Huber, and Wayne (Betty) Huber all of Jackson, FL; daughter and sons-in-law, Audrey (Darwyn) Diehl of Carson and William Taplin of Bismarck, ND as well as nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; brothers, Herbert (Elsie) Blumhardt of Elgin, Reuben (Kathryn) Blumhardt of Laurel, MT and Arnold (Lorraine) Blumhardt of Billings, MT; and sister, Ruth Will of Elgin.
      She was preceded in death by her husband in 2002, her daughter, Marjorie in 1993 and five sisters, Elizabeth, Pauline, Kathryn, Amelia and Bertha.
