!Margaret (Knodel) Dekker's step-father, Lorenz Kristian Lang, and his three siblings "all died in 1943." From Margaret's letters, it is not clear whether she had more than one half-brother (referred to in picture from March '89 letter) from her step-father, Lorenz Lang. In 1990 in Kustanai I met her half brother, Johann Lang, father of Luda.
Date of birth given by Valentina Holombowski in 1993 on Printed PAF record I provided her.

!Mother gives birth place as 'Moor Dorf.' Gerda Walker at 1992 ASHGR convention said it should be referred to as Mohr, with 'Dorf' being understood. Kirchenbote, Vol. 49, #32, 6 Aug. 1931 obituary gives birthday as 15 September, 1845--Mom had it listed as 15 December, 1845. Later information says the spelling was Moor, now Klyutchi in Russian. State of Colorado Death Certificate lists date of death as July 4, 1931 in Windsor, CO and birth as September 15, 1845 in Russia, father named George Mohn and mother, Louise Bickert (both born in Russia). Her cause of death is listed as "Enteritis and Diarrhea (over 2 yrs of agr.) with contributory senility." Informant, Emanuel (Webber [sic]) Weber. On April 30, 1996 Professor Igor Pleve emailed the following: "Elizabeth Mohn was born on the 15th of September in the Mohr colony . . . Her parents were Johann Georg Mohn, 1820 and Louise Bickert, 1820 (1821) Johann Georg's parents [were] Heinrich Mohn and Maria Magdalena Lein. !Rudolf Wiest of Kustanai said (1988) that he lives near Kustanai. In fact we visited him at Elizabeth's apartment (Elizabeth, grandaughter of Uncle Wilhelm) in Katchar; also met his daughter Irina. From Margaret Dekker, August, 1990--he lives in Katchar with his second wife, a Russian woman, and his new family. He works with hot water systems for central heating. He was in the Trudarmy in the Chelyabinsky area, along with Uncle Konrad's son, Edward.
!Heinrich wrote in March, 1992 (German letter by his wife?) that his brother died in 1960 and his sisters have gone to Germany. "I have from my first marriage 4 children, Edward, Inna, Elena, and Sina. In 1972 I married Nina (her husband died and she had two children) and in 1974 our daughter, Irina, was born. Nina's daughter and my son live with us."
On April 20, 1992 Heinrich wrote that his daughter, Elena, as well as two sisters moved to Germany.

From MD, 1990--She came on a train to Kustanai from Volga-Donsk in May, 1988 where she had lived with her daughter, Nadya. From MD, 1990--She went to Australia in 1958 by ship; she is the youngest daughter of Konrad; her first husband was Russian, her second a German Polish man. She went to Germany in 1943 with the retreating German army. She had two daughters, one named Irina. She had had many troubles, recently hospitalized with emotional problems, abandoned by her husband, etc.

Went to Seelman, then Saratov and arrived Liebau May 10, 1902. Stayed Liebau until June 28, then small ship to Valtiman via canals through Germany. Then on a ship to Hull England, train for 300 miles to
Liverpool, and July 5 on ship, Otto, to New York, arriving July 12, 1902. July 19 arrived at brother-in-law's home, Fred Greb. Stayed in Okeen, Oklahoma until March 30, 1904 then to Windsor, Colorado April 1, 1904. Henry worked on the Frisco Railroad. June, 1994 Ezra sent information on his parents birthdates, date of death, etc. as well as info about himself and his brother's and sisters. (Must compare with Betty's written records).
Jeruslan Nachrichten, Vol. 2, No. 2, edited by Sue Kottwitz of Rt. 1, Box 50, Falcon, MO 65470-9734 reported on p. 8 on NATURALIZATION RECORDS OF IMMIGRANTS FROM RUSSIA TO COLORADO--VOLUME 1, BY THE DENVER METRO CHAPTER, GENEALOGY GROUP, AHSGR, 1993, that Henry Buxman was born in WiesenmFuller on 10 May, 1884, and that he arrived on 11 July, 1902 in New York, was naturalized in 1916 in Weld County with residence in Windsor. 		Buxmann, Heinrich Georg (I96492)
