Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Rucker, pastor of Bible Baptist Church of Wichita Falls, officiating with W.J. Sonny felts assisting. Burial will be in Hurnville Cemetery in the Hurnville community of Clay County. Mrs. Fuhrman was born Nov. 13, 1900, in Rohrbach, Russia. She and Fred Fuhrman were married Feb. 21, 1921, at Hurnville Baptist Church. He died Jan. 1, 1979. She came to America with her parents and siblings to Galveston, Texas, in 1901. They eventually settled in a German community north of Henrietta known as Hurnville. She was retired as a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) from Bethania Hospital in 1980. She remained involved with farming and cattle until the time of her death. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Wichita Falls and the Clay County Farm Bureau. She was a Duchess for the 1985 Clay County Pioneer Reunion. She had lived her life in Hurnville, Texas, Petrolia, Texas, Wichita Falls and Dean, Texas. Survivors include two daughters, Lillie Mae Corder of Bellflower, Calif., and Ella Marie Morris of Wichita Falls; a son, Eugene Freddie Fuhrman of Dean; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. obit thanks to Find A Grave contributor WichitaFalls #47544561 | Moser, Margaretha (I19114)

Sie besuchte die örtliche Dorfschule und wuchs auf dem elterlichen Bauernhof auf. Am 21. März 1936 heiratete sie Alvin DeWitt in Alfred, North Dakota. Das Paar lebte bis 1944 in Alfred, bevor es nach Gackle zog. Ab 1950 bewirtschafteten sie einen Bauernhof in der Nähe von Alfred. Nach seinem Tod am 6. August 1972 lebte Christina weiterhin in Gackle. Im Jahr 2003 zog sie in das Pflegeheim Gackle. Sie war Mitglied der Grace Baptist Church in Gackle. Sie hinterlässt ihre Tochter Edris (Norman J.)
