Burial will be in Hurnville Cemetery in the Hurnville community of Clay County. Mrs. Fuhrman was born Nov. 13, 1900, in Rohrbach, Russia. She and Fred Fuhrman were married Feb. 21, 1921, at Hurnville Baptist Church. He died Jan. 1, 1979. She came to America with her parents and siblings to Galveston, Texas, in 1901. They eventually settled in a German community north of Henrietta known as Hurnville. She was retired as a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) from Bethania Hospital in 1980. She remained involved with farming and cattle until the time of her death. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Wichita Falls and the Clay County Farm Bureau. She was a Duchess for the 1985 Clay County Pioneer Reunion. She had lived her life in Hurnville, Texas, Petrolia, Texas, Wichita Falls and Dean, Texas.
