Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian May Hauge, 91, Avon, will be 2pm Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Avon with the Rev. Gary Wolfer officiating.
The body will lie in state at the Montgomery Funeral Home in Alexandria Monday evening and at the church Tuesday from noon until time of service. Burial will be in the Tyndall Cemetery.
She was born April 28, 1881 at Joliet, Ill. to Mr. and Mrs. William Yates and died Aug 5 at Bridgewater nursing home.
Survivors include four sons, Kenneth, Alexandria; George, Torrance, Calif.; Ernest, Ft. Peck, Mont.; and Charles, Peoria, Ill.; two daughters, Christine Eisenbraum, Vancouver, Wash.; and Maxine McDonald, Toms, Peoria, 10 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Thelma FEIDNER, 38, of near Kewanna, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday in the St. Joseph Hospital, Logansport, following a week's illness from pneumonia. Mrs. Feidner was author of "The County Line" column which has delighted readers of The News-Sentinel for the past five years. She was born August 7, 1914, to Mr. and Mrs. Milford HOLLOWAY, at Denver, Ind. Mrs. Feidner was a member of the Grass Creek E.U.B. church and was an active worker in that organization and numerous other projects throughout Union township. Survivors are: her husband, George H. FEIDNER, and the following children: Ruth, Charles, Sylvia, Myrtle, Curtis, David and Marion [FEIDNER]. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Bessie RANNELLS, Chicago; Mrs. Mildred COFFING, Peru; Mrs. Mary FELL, of Maryland and her father, [Noah] Milford HOLLOWAY, Denver. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Harrison chapel, Kewanna. Burial will be in the Grass Creek cemetery.

LTJG Thomas E. Pettit, age 80, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2010. Born in Circleville on November 27, 1929, to the late Arthur and Gertrude Pettit. Tom was a graduate of Circleville High School and the US Naval Academy, and served on the USS Douglas H. Fox. He received an MBA from The Ohio State University and had a career in sales. Along with his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife Lena (Kahrig) Pettit and his brother, William Pettit. He is survived by his children, Jennie (Tom) Cherry, Susanne Brackman, and David (Rhonda) Pettit; step-children, Kathy (Jeff) Johnson, and Tony Gatten; siblings, Jack (Marilyn) Pettit, Leah Pettit, and Sally Emerine; as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service to honor Tom will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 13, 2010, at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna. Friends may call from 3 p.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home."

Ray M. Lebo, 90, formerly of 724 7th Street in Boone, passed away at the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone on Friday evening, May 11, 2012.
He was born on August 25, 1921 in Boone, Iowa the son of Gordon and Katherine (Schicker) Lebo.
On August 25, 1946, he married Marjorie Wirtz at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.
Ray was a 1939 graduate of Boone High School. He farmed in Boone County until 1968 before moving to Ames, Iowa where Ray worked in the Vet Med Lab at Iowa State University. In 1992, the couple returned to Boone to make their home and in December of 2006, moved to the Eastern Star Masonic Home. Ray enjoyed woodworking, gardening and fishing.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Boone for over 75 years; a 50 year member of the Masons Mt. Olive #79 AF&AM; and a past member of the Order of Eastern Star Magi Chapter #139. Ray had been active in Boone County 4-H; served on various County Extension Service Committees and was a past member of the Master Swine Producers of Iowa.
His parents, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and his identical twin brother Roy, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife Marjorie of Boone; a daughter Marlene Gustafson and husband Jim of Urbandale, Iowa; a grandson Michael Gustafson of Eagle River, Alaska; a granddaughter Amy deBuhr and husband Brian of Urbandale, Iowa; a great-grandson Benjamin deBuhr; and several nieces and nephews.
Following his wishes, the body has been cremated.

Charles H. Feidner, Aug. 8, 1937-March 23, 2011, Charles H. Feidner, 73, Kewanna, died at 12:47 p.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis. Born Aug. 8, 1937, in Fulton County, he was the son of the late Harley and Thelma (Holloway) Feidner. He formerly worked at Torx in Rochester for many years. He was also a U.S. Army veteran. Charles enjoyed working on computers. Survivors include his two brothers, David R. Feidner, Rochester; and Marion Feidner, Kewanna; sisters, Lorraine Moore, Smithville, Tenn., Sylvia Hartshorne, Salem, and Ruth McCullough, Dickson, Tenn.; and two half-sisters, Mary Todd, Crawfordsville, and Martha Bryant, Auburn. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kurtis Feidner, and half-brother George Feidner. Memorial services are at 1 p.m. April 9 at Living Water Christian Church, Winamac. Burial is at Grass Creek Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes.

Harlan K. Feidner, April 19, 1943 - Nov. 16, 2000, Harlan Kurtis FEIDNER, 57, died at 6:30 a.m. Thursday at his Kewanna residence. Born to George H. and Thelma L. HOLLOWAY FEIDNER in Kewanna, he married Phyllis A. SWAYZE April 26, 1963 in Grass Creek. She survives. A handyman, Mr. Feidner is survived by his wife, at home, one son, Kurtis H. FEIDNER, Silver Lake; one daughter, Faith SMART, Delphi; four grandchildren; four brothers, George [FEIDNER], Medaryville; Charles [FEIDNER], Kewanna; Marion [FEIDNER], Kewanna; David [FEIDNER], Rochester; five sisters, Martha BRYANT, Fort Wayne; Ruth McCULLOUGH, Dixon, Tenn.; Sylvia HARTSHORNE, Salem; Mary TODD, Crawfordsville; Myrtle MOORE, Kewanna. Preceding in death was one brother. Services are at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Kewanna, with Rev. Heath HIATT officiating. Burial is at Grass Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. Saturday until services.

Alma Ann Kolb, 97, of Lodi, died July 11. She was born Jan. 23, 1913 in McClusky, N.D.
Mrs. Kolb was a junior high school teacher at Lodi, Stockton and Pacifica schools. She was a member of Vinewood Community Church.
She is survived by her son, Lowell "Scotty" Reiswig, of Wallace; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Graveside services will be held on at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lodi Memorial Cemetery. There will be no visitation, at her request.
Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
