| 134111 | www.findagrave.com: www.findagrave.com/memorial/33526476/anna-marie-bechthold Anna Marie (Seib) Orth Reiswig Bechthold was born in the Rhineland, Germany in about 1821. She immigrated with her father and mother to Russia, from Germany, in about 1823. She married Johannes Orth on November 19, 1840 in Grunau, Jekaterinslov, Russia. We believe they had five children. Johannes died, in Russia, some time before 1856. Anna Maria then married Jacob Reiswig on Septermber 18, 1856 in the Grunau Parish, Mariupol District, Russia. Jabob and Anna Maria had two children, Jacob and Maria Anna. Jacob died on January 30, 1860 in Belowesch, Grunau, Mariupol District, Russia. In about 1870, in Russia, Anna Maria married the widower Michael Johann Bechthold. On November 3, 1875 they arrived on the ship Pommerania, from Hamburg. From New York they traveled to Hutchinson County, South Dakota and homesteaded, across the James River from the Reiswig's, in the Clayton South Township of Hutchison County, South Dakota. Anna Marie (Seib) Orth Reiswig Bechthold died before 1900, in, we assume, Hutchinson County, South Dakota. If this is where she died, we believe that she would have been buried in the Reiswig Seventh-day Adventist Cemetery. | Seib, Anna Maria (I201856)
